Commissions

Corporate & Private

A history of commissions for private and corporate clients.

Samworth Brothers

I was chosen to paint three paintings for the entrance to the Samworth Brothers family boardroom at the head office, Chetwode House in Melton Mowbray. After completing research on their many companies and the family history and charities I made three paintings.

A large oak which I called “The Samworth Oak” was the main painting. I chose an oak as it seemed to me to show all the attributes of Samworth Brothers, one of the Britains largest and most successful family companies.

An abstract piece depicting the colours of their many companies coming together named “Companies Abstraction”.

A painting showing the reach of their extensive charity work. I called the painting “Charities Worldwide”.

Beedles Lake Golf Club – Clubhouse

My paintings for the club house were all inspired by the lovely surroundings at Beedles Lake Golf Club and Fishing Lake. It is a place I love to paint to this day.

Hallcross Dental Practice – Wigston Magna

You can see several of my paintings at Hallcross Dental Practice, painted to commission and some work bought from my studio. Wigston keeps pulling me back. Admiral Sportswear was based in Wigston, Hallcross Dental Practice is just over the road and my sculpture piece Totem at Peacock Place is just around the corner.

Pheonix Arts Leicester- residential section entrances.

I

Private Commissions

I have worked on many private commissions and greatly enjoyed working with clients and being pushed sometimes to work a different way.
